This is the kind of "RUN" that's REALLY fun... it's a 0.5k BEER RUN! (That's right, 0.5k... that equals 1/3 Mile or 546 yards or 1,640 feet!)

We have it on good authority that it will take you about 9 minutes to complete--and that's if you walk!

And you get rewarded at the end with... yes, beer. Participants also receive a limited edition Side Pockets "Barks, Brews & Running Shoes" 0.5k Beer Run T-Shirt, a Finisher's Medal, a "Bragging Rights" .5k Sticker and 2 Drink Tickets for your choice of beverages from our Presenting Sponsors:

The Kansas Humane Society is a community resource for pets and people that helps abandoned and homeless animals in our community. The KHS animal shelter offers a wide variety of services to promote the human and animal bond. These include: pet adoption, spay/neuter services for the pets of low income families, community outreach, end of life services, animal rescue, pet rehoming, donation opportunities, Woofstock, and so much more.
