This is the kind of "RUN" that's REALLY fun... it's a 0.5K BEER RUN! (That's right, 0.5K... just 1/3 Mile or 546 yards or 1,640 feet!)
It takes about 9 minutes to complete the course--and that's if you walk!
You get rewarded at the end with... yes, beer. Participants receive a limited edition Side Pockets 0.5K Beer Run T-Shirt, a Finisher's Medal, Sponsor Swag Bag, and 2 Drink Tickets for your choice of beverages from our Presenting Sponsors.

The KHS team will be on hand with some friendly, adoptable pets to cheer you on and comfort you when it's all over.

The Kansas Humane Society is a community resource for pets and people that helps abandoned and homeless animals in our community. The KHS animal shelter offers a wide variety of services to promote the human and animal bond. These include: pet adoption, spay/neuter services for the pets of low income families, community outreach, end of life services, animal rescue, pet rehoming, donation opportunities, Woofstock, and so much more.
KHS is proud to give animals the care, comfort, hope, and the second chance at a new life they deserve and aren't we all proud to be part of a community that helps support the services KHS provides?
